Key Highlights Weekly pay: $2,350–$2,527 per week Guaranteed hours: 0.0 Contract duration: 13 weeks Shift: 5x8 days Start date: 08/27/2026 Work setting: travel assignment in a hospital environment Responsibilities Screen gynecologic and non-gynecologic cytology specimens to detect cancer or other pathological conditions; mark abnormalities; render diagnoses; determine cases for quality control or review with a pathologist. Perform quality control and quality assurance procedures to maintain compliance with internal and external regulations and protocols. Conduct rapid on-site evaluation (ROSE) using tele-pathology for the collection, processing, and immediate evaluation of Fine Needle Aspirations. Prepare slides, document results in the laboratory information system, and maintain accurate case records. Collaborate with the cytology and pathology team to ensure accuracy, turnaround times, and appropriate case prioritization. Maintain equipment and adhere to safety, infection control, and workflow standards.
