• Position: Locum tenens Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) – General Anesthesia
• Location: New Lenox, Illinois, near Chicago
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $5,630–$6,560
• Start Date: January 4, 2026
• Assignment Duration: 26 weeks, with potential for an ongoing assignment
• Schedule: Monday through Saturday
• Shifts per Week: 5
• Shift Duration: 8-hour day shifts; 8-, 10-, and 12-hour shifts are available
• Anesthesia Practice Model: Continuous medical supervision by an anesthesiologist

CRNA Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of CRNA experience in a surgical anesthesia setting
• Current CRNA/APRN licensure eligible for practice in Illinois
• National board certification or eligibility as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist
• Current provider credentials and the ability to complete the credentialing process
• Demonstrated clinical competence across a variety of general anesthesia cases
• Strong communication, collaboration, and patient-safety skills

CRNA Responsibilities

• Administer safe and effective anesthesia care throughout the perioperative process
• Evaluate patients before procedures and develop individualized anesthesia plans
• Provide anesthesia services for general, endoscopic, ENT, gynecologic, ophthalmic, orthopedic, plastic, trauma, neurologic, obstetric, and urologic procedures
• Monitor patients throughout anesthesia and recovery, responding promptly to changing clinical conditions
• Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, nurses, and other members of the anesthesia care team
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and uphold established standards for quality and patient safety
