Title - Industrial Electrical Maintenance Technician
Pay - $25+ per hour DOE
Shift - 1st shift
Location - Verdigris, OK
We are seeking a skilled Industrial Electrical Maintenance Technician to ensure the smooth operation of our production equipment. Responsibilities include inspecting, installing, maintaining, repairing and testing electrical systems and equipment in industrial facilities to ensure safe, efficient, and uninterrupted operations, troubleshooting breakdowns, and maintaining safety standards. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical and electrical knowledge, excellent troubleshooting skills, and a commitment to safety and efficiency.
• Inspect, install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, control panels, motors, drives, sensors, and power distribution equipment
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical faults, using schematics, blueprints, and diagnostic tools
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to avoid unplanned downtime, including lubrication, cleaning, and inspections
• Replace and install components such as fuses, circuit breakers, switches, variable frequency drives, and instrumentation
• Test electrical systems for continuity, compatibility, and safety compliance
• Follow strict safety protocols, including lockout/tagout, OSHA standards, and NFPA 70E electrical safety requirements
• Communicate with operators and management to gather fault information and provide repair recommendations
• Document all maintenance and repair activities in logs or CMMS systems for tracking and compliance
• Suggest and communicate electrical supplies, parts, and equipment for maintenance needs to Maintenance Supervisor/Manager
Typical Work Environment
Industrial electrical maintenance technicians work in the manufacturing shop. They will be required to handle PLC troubleshooting, motor drives, robotics, and networked sensors.
Key Skills and Qualifications
• Technical skills: Reading electrical diagrams, wiring, motor control, instrumentation, and troubleshooting
• Soft skills: Problem-solving, communication, and ability to work under pressure.
