Med/Surg Telemetry RN - Night Shift

Location: Cleveland, OH

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Night shift, 3 - 12 hour shifts, from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.

Job Description: We are seeking a Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) with a minimum of 18 months of permanent Med/Surg Tele experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, monitoring telemetry patients, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and monitor patient conditions, including vital signs and telemetry readings.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Document patient care and updates in the electronic health record.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members.
• Provide education to patients and their families on health management.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 18 months of permanent experience in Med/Surg Telemetry.
• Must have a valid Ohio RN license or a compact state license in hand.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• One reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty applying for is required.
• Must be nicotine-free, with a negative 10 panel drug screen required within 12 months of the start date.
