Certified Medical Assistant - Student Health Center
$19.6 per hourGrace Health
Floating between Springfield Middle School and Northwestern Performing Arts Academy. Hours : Monday - Friday 7:15a - 3:45p (30-minute lunch)$19.60+ an hour (with experience) You will have the opportunity to interact with the students and build a trustworthy atmosphere. Additionally, we offer competitive wages based on experience and up to 3 weeks of PTO in the first year! Weekend and holidays off!

REQUIREMENTS
- Seasonal Flu vaccine
- High school diploma or GED. Graduation from an accredited medical assisting program preferred
- Certification as a medical assistant is required
- Current BCLS certification and experience in pediatric primary care preferred #ZR GH26
EXAMPLES OF DUTIES: (This list is not all inclusive.)
- Obtains accurate patient data
- Documents in the medical record
- Prepares exam rooms and procedure rooms
- Assists provider during exams and procedures
- Administers medications, per written order
- Provides educational materials to patient/family
- Provides explanation of lab results, diagnostic testing results and provider orders to patient/family
- Assists with cleaning and stocking of exam rooms and suites
- Performs CLIA waived testing
- General office duties, as assigned
