Specializing in cardiac and telemetry care, the role involves providing both routine and complex patient care in a fast-paced environment. There is a possibility for a temp-to-perm transition depending on performance and availability.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - Telemetry

• Provide nursing care utilizing the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation for assigned patients.
• Address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families.
• Administer medications and treatments, monitor for side effects and effectiveness, and document patient history and care given.
• Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, family members, and caregivers.
• Meet expectations of the applicable OneCHRISTUS Competencies: Leader of Self, Others, or Leaders.

Requirements of the RN - Telemetry

• BLS certification from AHA required
• ACLS certification from AHA required
• RN License in the state of employment or compact
• 1 year of experience in the related nursing specialty preferred
• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred
