Vital Journey for Healing Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated and qualified Virtual Licensed Mental Health Counselor specializing in Marriage and Family Therapy (LMFT), Professional Clinical Counseling (LPCC), or Clinical Social Work (LCSW). Key Responsibilities

• Conduct individual counseling sessions via secure video chat to support clients in improving their mental health.
• Facilitate discussions that allow clients to express their emotions, share experiences, and gain insights into their inner lives and relationships.
• Act as a client advocate, helping them to define specific treatment goals conducive to their journey.
• Assess clients’ mental health statuses, developing and implementing bespoke treatment plans informed by evidence-based practices and your clinical expertise.
• Utilize available tools and resources from our therapist portal to enhance the counseling process and improve client interactions.

Vital Journey for Healing Counseling Center exclusively serves clients who have been prescreened to ensure they are stable and exhibit low acuity in their mental health challenges. Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Counseling is required.
• Must possess an independent clinical license (LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW) issued by the state board; provisional or limited licenses are not accepted.
• Ability to make informed clinical evaluations, treatment recommendations, and care planning.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with a compassionate approach to client care.
• Proficient in using technology for counseling services, including video platforms and electronic health records.

Preferred Experience

Experience in providing therapy through virtual platforms is highly preferred. Familiarity with diverse therapeutic techniques and specific populations can enhance your effectiveness in connecting with clients. A background in solution-focused therapy or other evidence-based practices will also be beneficial.
