Bachelor’s in Medical Technology, Clinical Lab Science, or related field, National certification (ASCP, AMT, or equivalent), and 1–2+ years recent hospital lab experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into a dynamic laboratory setting and provide vital diagnostic support as part of a skilled team of professionals. This contract opportunity is ideal for Medical Technologists or Medical Lab Technicians with strong generalist backgrounds.

Schedule:

• (7) 10-hour shifts per 2-week cycle
• Mon/Fri: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• Sat/Sun: 8:00 AM – 6:30 PM
• Rotating schedule pattern:
  • Work Sat/Sun/Mon, off Tues/Wed
  • Work Thurs/Fri, off Sat/Sun/Mon
  • Work Tues/Wed, off Thurs/Fri, then repeat
• Total of 70 hours every 2 weeks (alternate between 30 hours one week and 40 the next)

Qualifications:

• Associate degree (MLT) or Bachelor’s degree (MT) in Medical Laboratory Science or related field
• Certification by ASCP or AMT
• Experience as a laboratory generalist in a hospital setting preferred
• Proficiency operating Roche Chemistry and Sysmex Hematology analyzers
• Skilled in manual preparation and interpretation of Gram stains
• Strong attention to detail and effective communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team

Responsibilities:

• Perform a broad spectrum of clinical laboratory testing, ensuring highest quality standards
• Operate and maintain laboratory instrumentation, including Roche Chemistry and Sysmex Hematology systems
• Conduct manual Gram stain procedures and interpret results accurately
• Adhere to established laboratory protocols, quality control measures, and safety requirements
• Analyze and report results to healthcare providers promptly
• Participate in ongoing training and quality improvement initiatives

$1,463 - $1,542/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
