Bachelor’s in Medical Technology, Clinical Lab Science, or related field, National certification (ASCP, AMT, or equivalent), and 1–2+ years recent hospital lab experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An opportunity is available for a skilled Medical Laboratory Technologist or Medical Laboratory Technician with expertise in core laboratory functions. This contract position plays a vital role in supporting laboratory operations for a busy healthcare setting, ensuring accurate and timely results for patient care.

Schedule:

• (7) 10-hour shifts per 2-week cycle
• Monday/Friday: 7:00 am–5:30 pm
• Saturday/Sunday: 8:00 am–6:30 pm
• Rotating cycle:
  • Work Sat/Sun/Mon, off Tues/Wed
  • Work Thurs/Fri, off Sat/Sun/Mon
  • Work Tues/Wed, off Thurs/Fri
• Alternating 30 hours one week, 40 hours the next

Qualifications:

• Medical Laboratory Technologist (MT) or Medical Lab Technician (MLT) credentials accepted
• Valid ASCP or AMT certification required
• Demonstrated experience as a hospital generalist preferred
• Operational knowledge of Roche Chemistry and Sysmex Hematology analyzers
• Proficiency in manual Gram stain procedures
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative laboratory team
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing reliable lab results

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct chemistry, hematology, urinalysis, and microbiology testing as a generalist
• Operate, calibrate, and troubleshoot modern laboratory analyzers with a focus on Roche Chemistry and Sysmex Hematology systems
• Perform and interpret manual Gram stains
• Ensure compliance with relevant quality control and safety protocols
• Accurately document laboratory results and communicate findings to clinicians as needed

$1,463 - $1,542/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
