Job Overview A law firm seeks an exceptional Patent Agent to join their intellectual property team in Washington, DC. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and excellent communication skills. Duties Assist in preparing and prosecuting patent applications. Conduct patentability and freedom-to-operate analyses. Collaborate with attorneys and clients on intellectual property strategies. Provide technical expertise in telecommunications and software. Requirements 3-5 years of experience as a Patent Agent. Technical experience in telecommunications, electronic circuit design, or software. Admitted to practice before the USPTO. Education Undergraduate degree in electrical or computer engineering; advanced degree preferred. Certifications USPTO registration. Skills Strong academic background.
