SEO Manager

Job Description

We are seeking a Manager, Technical SEO & AI Optimization to lead organic search strategy, technical SEO performance, and app marketplace optimization across a portfolio of large-scale digital products and consumer-facing platforms. This role will be responsible for improving website health, search visibility, discoverability, and user acquisition across traditional search engines, AI-powered search experiences, and mobile app marketplaces.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on technical SEO leader who can partner across product, engineering, analytics, content, and marketing teams to identify growth opportunities, translate insights into actionable requirements, support implementation, and measure business impact.

This role will also drive the development and management of AI agents and automation solutions that enhance SEO workflows, improve operational efficiency, scale analysis, and support data-driven decision making.

Key Responsibilities

Technical SEO Leadership

Lead technical SEO strategy and execution across enterprise-level websites and digital platforms.

Identify opportunities to improve search visibility, site health, crawlability, indexation, and organic performance.

Partner with product and engineering teams to prioritize, implement, and validate technical SEO initiatives.

Conduct technical audits, performance analysis, and ongoing optimization efforts to support growth objectives.

Develop optimization strategies for high-priority landing pages, site architecture, and user experiences.

Collaborate with content, product, and conversion optimization teams to improve metadata frameworks, content discoverability, and scalable search experiences.

Monitor industry trends, search engine updates, and emerging AI search developments to inform strategy and recommendations.

Measure, analyze, and communicate SEO performance, opportunities, and business impact to stakeholders.

AI Agent Development & Automation

Identify opportunities to leverage AI agents, automation, and machine learning technologies to improve SEO operations.

Design, implement, and maintain AI-powered solutions that support monitoring, reporting, analysis, and opportunity identification.

Develop repeatable workflows that improve the efficiency and scalability of SEO processes.

Establish quality assurance standards, governance practices, and performance monitoring for AI-driven systems.

Evaluate and validate AI-generated outputs to ensure consistency, accuracy, and business alignment.

Drive adoption of automation capabilities across SEO and related digital marketing functions.

Skills and Requirements

5+ years of experience in technical SEO supporting large-scale or enterprise digital properties.

Strong understanding of technical SEO best practices, search engine architecture, and the evolving landscape of traditional and AI-powered search.

Experience partnering with product, engineering, analytics, content, and marketing teams to drive implementation and measurable results.

Experience developing, managing, or optimizing AI-powered workflows, agents, automation solutions, or large language model (LLM)-based processes.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize opportunities and evaluate business impact.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Experience with SEO tools, analytics platforms, and performance measurement frameworks. Experience with App Store Optimization (ASO), including app listing management, testing, and experimentation.

Experience supporting multiple brands, products, or business units within a large enterprise environment.

Background in media, entertainment, streaming, publishing, consumer technology, or other content-driven industries.

Familiarity with emerging AI search platforms, generative AI technologies, and search automation tools.
