Conference Payments Analyst

The Conference Payment Analyst will play a key role in supporting IEEE's Accounts Payable department by ensuring the accurate, timely, and compliant processing of event-related payments. This position requires meticulous attention to detail in reviewing and approving payments to vendors, speakers, venues, awardees, and other stakeholders involved in IEEE conferences. The Conference Payment Analyst will ensure that all payment requests are supported by appropriate documentation and are compliant with company policies, tax regulations, and best business practices. The role also involves substantial communication with conference organizers to provide updates on payment status and guide them in resolving documentation issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and approve payment requests related to IEEE conferences.
• Provide excellent customer service by responding to customer inquiries.

Qualifications

Education Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required Work Experience 2-4 years Experience in a field related to Accounts Payable preferred Skills and Requirements Demonstrated customer service skills Demonstrated problem solving skills Demonstrates a high level of accuracy, even under pressure Demonstrates excellent judgment and decision making skills Highly thorough and dependable Maintains composure under pressure Performs work independently with minimal supervision Demonstrated time management and priority setting skills Demonstrates a high commitment to quality Other Requirements: As defined in IEEE Policies, individuals currently serving on an IEEE board or committee are not eligible to apply.
