Senior Performance Test Engineer

Overview: ROLE: Senior Performance Test Engineer LOCATION: San Francisco, CA We have an excellent opportunity for a Senior Performance Test Engineer with strong experience in performance engineering and the utility domain. Based on your experience, we believe this role could be a strong fit for your profile. Please find below the key details of the requirement: Experience Required:
- 8+ years of experience in SDLC/TDLC
- 6+ years of hands-on experience in Performance Testing/Engineering
- Experience working in an onsite-offshore delivery model
- Utility industry experience (ADMS exposure preferred)
- Strong expertise in performance testing tools such as LoadRunner, LoadRunner Cloud, JMeter, NeoLoad, or similar
- Experience in performance engineering and monitoring tools (AppDynamics, CloudWatch, etc.)
- Hands-on experience with API testing (REST/SOAP) using tools like SOAP UI, Postman
- Strong knowledge of Java or Python
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes
- Expertise in metrics gathering, dashboard creation, and performance analysis reporting
- Execute performance testing across QA and production environments
- Perform stress, spike, endurance, failover, and single-user profiling tests
- Define performance testing strategies and non-functional validation approaches
- Analyze bottlenecks and provide engineering recommendations
- Collaborate with architects, developers, and infrastructure teams
- Support onsite-offshore coordination and delivery
