Radiologic Technology Program Oversight$20K SIGN-ON BONUS + RELOCATION ASSISTANCEThe position is responsible for oversight of the Radiologic Technology program including activities related to the student experience and student success such as developing and implementing retention strategies, managing active students, students on leave of absences, NS/TO and students on externship. The position is responsible for management and support of faculty assigned to teach in their programs, managing externship quality and number of sites and/or clinical site quality and volume. Academic quality is a direct responsibility for the position. Areas related to academic quality include, but are not limited to, conducting classroom observations, and providing feedback to faculty, participating in program review process, assessing, reporting, analyzing student learning outcome data and developing improvement plans associated with SLO data and analysis. The position is responsible for cascading pertinent information to faculty and holding program-specific training to their faculty teams. The position may be required to devote required time to classroom teaching. The remaining percentage of their assignment will be devoted specifically to providing administrative oversight of the program.Compensation: The starting pay range for this position is $100,000 - $150,000 annually + $20k sign-on bonus + relocationEssential Duties and ResponsibilitiesTeach courses in a Term or TermsDevelop, implement, and conduct assessments on program and course student learning outcomesCoordinate faculty activities and trainingsCoordinate faculty scheduling within the programAssist with selection and the interview process of faculty within the programDevelop and evaluate sites for clinical education, externship, and preceptorship as applicableMaintain faculty substitute listings and current contact information for the programCoordinate new faculty orientation and program-specific orientations for students in their program.Ensures compliance with all program and college metrics including graduation rates, retention, third party pass rates. Develops and implements action plans for any items not meeting the college standards or benchmarks.Conduct assessments of all class sessions of the program as required by policyMaintain and manage a sufficient inventory of program equipment and supplies in an excel spreadsheet and updated with the college's current standard equipment list.Prepare requests for equipment & supply ordering for the program.Ensure that annual calibration is completed for all equipment in the program requiring calibration.Coordinate textbook orders for the programFacilitate monthly programmatic faculty meetings, advisory committee meetings, curriculum review meetings. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Education and/or ExperienceMaster's degree or completion of a Bachelor's degree with current enrollment in a Master's degree programA minimum of three (3) years of experience in diagnostic radiologic technologyCertification/LicensureIs a qualified practitioner who holds one of the following, issued by the California Department of Public Health, Radiologic Health Branch (CDPH-RHB): o A radiology supervisor and operator certificate issued pursuant to 17 CCR § 30466 o Both a radiography supervisor and operator permit pursuant to 17 CCR § 30463 AND a fluoroscopy supervisor and operator permit pursuant to 17 CCR § 30466 o Both a diagnostic radiologic technologist certificate issued pursuant to 17 CCR § 30440 AND a fluoroscopic radiologic technologist permitHolds current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification, or equivalent, in radiographyMust possess venipuncture certificate or receive within 6 months of hire.Other Qualifications:Two years of teaching experience along with two years' management/supervisory/ lead position or specialist experience in Radiologic Technology or related health care setting preferred.Must have a thorough knowledge of the specific program requirements. Must demonstrate the ability to teach from a standardized curriculum. Must have a thorough knowledge of Carrington policies and procedurePreferred qualifications: Additional education and/or experienceDoctoral degreeA minimum of two (2) years of experience as an instructor in a JRCERT-accredited programProficiency in curriculum design, evaluation, instruction, program administration, and academic advisingAdditional Certification/LicensureHolds current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification, or equivalent, in additional modalities beyond radiographyMust meet or exceed all standards listed in Minimum Qualifications report. Required degree(s) must be from institutions accredited by U.S. accrediting agencies.
