This position provides hands-on technical support for desktops, laptops, virtual desktops, and peripherals, while ensuring systems are compliant, secure, and optimized for productivity. The Desktop Technician works closely with IT teams to resolve technical issues, support business operations, and contribute to technology initiatives.ResponsibilitiesProvide support for desktops, laptops, peripherals, and mobile devices.Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, connectivity, and printing issues.Support end-users in Citrix, VMware Horizon, or AVD environments.Assist with PowerShell scripting and execution for system tasks and automation.Deploy devices using Microsoft Intune, MECM, or JAMF.Support identity management, MFA enrollment, and encryption policy enforcement.Ensure endpoints meet security and compliance standards.Provide in-person support to branches and VIP users as needed.Maintain asset inventory and perform IT lifecycle operations.Collaborate with other IT teams to support infrastructure and project delivery.Adhere to BSA/AML/OFAC compliance requirements.Perform other duties as required.RequirementsMinimum of 4 years of experience in a similar IT support role.Proficient in Windows 10/11, with basic macOS and iOS experience.Working knowledge of TCP/IP networking (IP addressing, DNS, DHCP).Experience using and troubleshooting VDI (Citrix, VMware, or Azure Virtual Desktop).Understanding of PowerShell scripting and ability to run and troubleshoot scripts.Familiarity with endpoint management tools such as Intune, MECM, or JAMF.Strong communication and documentation skills.Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.Ability to lift at least 40 pounds.CompetenciesTechnical Expertise – Strong diagnostic and technical troubleshooting abilities.Compliance Awareness – Follows security procedures and compliance standards.Customer Focus – Delivers professional and helpful service to all end-users.Accountability – Takes ownership of support tasks and ensures completion.Collaboration – Works cooperatively with IT team members and stakeholders.Adaptability – Learns and applies new technologies and procedures quickly.Span of Control / Direct ReportsOur Core Values are an integral part of who we are and who we hire. Actual base pay offered may vary depending on a number of factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location. Employees in this position may also be eligible for a discretionary bonus, 401(k) with an 6% employer match per pay period, and overtime eligibility.
