Project Administrator

The Project Administrator will provide essential administrative support to project teams, ensuring smooth coordination and documentation throughout the project lifecycle. This role is pivotal in maintaining project logs, processing submittals and RFIs, and supporting the Project Manager, Construction Manager, or Project Engineer.

Job Qualifications:

• Minimum: High school diploma.
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in business administration, Project Management, or related field.
• 2–3 years of administrative experience, preferably in construction.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; SharePoint experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of Certified Payroll and basic plan-reading helpful.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Positive, service-oriented attitude.

Essential Job Functions:

• Facilitate incoming/outgoing correspondence.
• Answer project-related phone calls.
• Set up, maintain, and close out filing systems and document logs (electronic and hard copy).
• Coordinate and process submittals and RFIs.
• Audit Certified Payroll for compliance.
• Take and prepare meeting minutes; generate weekly and monthly reports.
• Process monthly payment requests.
• Maintain office supplies and assist field staff as needed.

Location: Hilo, HI

Salary Range: $46,813 – $61,800 per year depending on experience
