As a Security Officer Field Patrol in Newark, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment through strong communication and customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, patients, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and report hazards, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized access, verify credentials when required, and support visitor management and access control practices.
• Assist with security-related alarms, medical-related calls for assistance, and other site-specific events while following post orders and Allied Universal standards.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
