Registered Nurse ICU

Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

• 
  Manage and monitor critically ill patients using cardiac monitoring, ventilators, and IV pumps.
  
  
• 
  Perform advanced procedures such as intubations and central line placements.
  
  
• 
  Administer medications and treatments adhering to hospital protocols and standards.
  
  
• 
  Document patient care accurately in the electronic medical record system.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to develop and implement care plans.
  
  
• 
  Respond promptly to patient emergencies and adjust care plans as needed.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Must have at least 1 year of current ICU hospital experience.
  
  
• 
  Hold active ACLS, BLS, and NIH certifications.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate proficiency with Meditech electronic medical record system.
  
  
• 
  Possess strong critical thinking and clinical decision-making skills.
  
  
• 
  Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  
  
• 
  Prior experience with neuro and medical ICU populations preferred.
