Branch Manager IIPrimary Function The Branch Manager II plans and manages the branch operations to ensure efficient and profitable parts and service. The role provides effective customer relation activities designed to enhance continuing services use by customers.Essential DutiesCustomer Service and Operational OversightOversee Service and Parts department operations to ensure timely, professional, and value-based customer supportEnsure prompt response to customer needs to minimize equipment downtime and maintain clear communication on service and parts statusManage Planned Maintenance, Guaranteed Maintenance, and On-site maintenance programsEnsure 24/7 customer support availability including emergency responseOversee consignment parts inventory for service vehicles and customer locationsEnsure accurate quotations for service work and support Product Support Sales Representatives and external customersManage vendor-requested repairs and assist customers with scheduling to ensure positive service experiencesCoordinate OEM technical support communications when required to resolve complex equipment issuesFinancial and Asset ManagementManage the Profit and Loss statement for assigned operations including sales performance, pricing, expense control, staffing, and resource schedulingOversee work order administration and billing processes to ensure accurate, timely invoicing and minimize work in processManage company assets including facilities, vehicles, equipment, and tooling to maximize return on capitalCoordinate with the Credit Department to verify customer creditworthiness and administer COD transactionsReview financial and operational reports to ensure accuracy and make necessary adjustmentsPlan facility maintenance, equipment upkeep, and operational expansion while ensuring regulatory complianceTeam Leadership and Workforce DevelopmentRecruit, hire, develop, and retain qualified employees for service and parts operationsProvide performance management including coaching, career planning, training recommendations, and performance reviewsEnforce company policies related to safety, conduct, and workplace standardsMaintain a professional and positive workplace cultureManage employee relations matters including disciplinary actions and separations when necessaryCompliance, Safety, and Business DevelopmentEnsure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and applicable regulatory requirements including inspections, hazardous waste management, and environmental controlsPromote workplace safety through training, toolbox talks, accident reporting, and workers' compensation managementEnsure completion of safety training and required drug testing programsParticipate in divisional planning and collaborate with Product Support leadership to improve operational performance and profitabilityDevelop and monitor annual parts and service budgets to ensure effective resource utilizationConduct customer visits and participate in regional and divisional meetings to support business growth and service initiativesMinimum RequirementsEducationAssociates degree in related field; bachelor's degree in business or related field preferred.Work Experience5+ years of service industry experience.7+ years of service industry experience (Assoc.
