We are looking for an experienced Sr. Accountant to join a hospitality organization in Los Angeles, California. This role will play a key part in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting the close process, and delivering dependable reporting in a high-volume environment. The ideal candidate brings strong technical accounting knowledge, sound judgment, and hands-on experience with modern ERP platforms.
Responsibilities:
• Lead recurring close activities by preparing entries, reviewing balances, and helping ensure timely completion of monthly accounting deadlines.
• Maintain the general ledger by analyzing account activity, resolving discrepancies, and supporting accurate financial data across reporting periods.
• Perform detailed reconciliations for balance sheet accounts and follow through on open items to keep records current and well-supported.
• Assist with financial reporting by organizing schedules, validating supporting data, and contributing to accurate month-end deliverables.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather accounting information, clarify transactions, and improve the reliability of financial results.
• Work within ERP and accounting systems such as NetSuite, Sage Intacct, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar platforms to manage day-to-day accounting tasks.
• Proven experience in a Senior Accountant or comparable accounting role.• Strong background in month-end close, general ledger management, and financial statement support.
• Hands-on experience preparing journal entries and completing account and bank reconciliations.
• Solid understanding of core accounting principles and internal controls.
• Ability to manage priorities effectively in a fast-paced business environment.
• Proficiency with ERP or accounting systems such as NetSuite, Sage Intacct, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or related tools.
• High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
