Manual Machinist

Machine shop is seeking an experienced Manual Machinist to join their team!

The company specializes in advanced machining, fabrication, and manufacturing services.

Manual Machinist Details:

  • Temp-to-Hire position
  • $ 30.00 / hour
  • Full Time work available
  • First Shift (Monday through Friday from 07:00am to 04:30am)
  • Operate manual lathes, mills, drill presses, and other machine shop equipment.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders.
  • Measure parts using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring tools.
  • Set up machines and select appropriate tooling.
  • Machine parts to required dimensions and tolerances.
  • Inspect finished parts for quality and accuracy.

Manual Machinist Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a Manual Machinist
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and blueprints.
  • Experience with precision measuring tools. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience in oilfield machining or manufacturing
  • Applicant may be subject to a background check
  • Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
