Role Overview: As a Caregiver at Assisting Hands Home Care, you will be responsible for providing compassionate and personalized assistance to seniors and adults in need. In this role, you'll collaborate closely with our dedicated team to ensure our clients receive the best care possible, allowing them to maintain their independence in the comfort of their homes. This is an on-site position located in Lavon, Texas, giving you the opportunity to engage directly with clients and their families. Key Responsibilities: Provide personal care, including assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, and dressing. Offer companionship and emotional support to clients, enriching their quality of life. Assist in medication management and ensure adherence to care plans as directed by healthcare professionals. Engage clients in social and recreational activities to promote mental and physical well-being. Collaborate with team members to communicate client needs and any changes observed in their health and behavior. Qualifications: You're a great fit if you have the following skills. Compassionate and patient, with a genuine desire to work with seniors. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, particularly in English. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as required. Reliable and trustworthy with a strong sense of responsibility. Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred but not required. Bonus If You: Have certifications in CPR or First Aid. Are bilingual, with the ability to communicate in languages other than English. Possess experience working with clients who have Alzheimer's or dementia. Employment Type & Availability: This is a Part-Time position with flexible scheduling available Monday through Sunday. Location: This position is on-site in Lavon, Texas, and is open to candidates residing in Texas only.
