Job Title

Registered Nurse – Emergency / ICU Overflow

Location

Atlanta, GA

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Days | 3 x 12-hour shifts (36 hours/week)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an emergency department overflow area serving ICU-level patients
• Assess, monitor, and manage acutely ill and critically ill patients in a high-volume environment
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver safe, timely, and effective care
• Perform neurological assessments utilizing NIHSS protocols as indicated
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient status and interventions

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience in an Emergency or ICU setting
• Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Current AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience strongly preferred
• Dual experience in both Emergency and ICU nursing
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, high-acuity hospital environment
