Shipping Coordinator

As a Shipping Coordinator you will be part of a fast-paced, growing vintage luxury company. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Shipping, you will be responsible for scheduling carriers, resolving problems concerning transportation and logistics, entering information into the ERP/EDI system and working with our Wholesale department to resolve customer issues
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Create Export Documents for Overseas Shipments such as Custom Invoices, NAFTA, Commercial Invoices/ Pro Forma, and Declaration.
- Troubleshoot issues and ensure there is consistency among all data sources between merchant, vendor, operations, warehouses, and inventory management systems
- Schedule trucks for pickup appointments upon customer request.
- Assist with tracking shipments and providing promptly communicate regarding service issues
- identify issues and update teams on shipment progress
- Print necessary shipping documents such as Bill of Ladings, P.O.D.s, and Master Bills.
- Assist in reconciling inventory and customer shipping discrepancies.
- Help load / unload trucks.
- Order shipping supplies when needed.
- Responsible for ensuring all transactions are recorded on a daily basis
Qualifications:
- 3+ years experience in shipping and logistics
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, with proficiency in Excel required
- Prior experience working with International Shippers, UPS, FedEx and USPS
- Demonstrated experience with inventory management.
- Working knowledge of EDI setup and docs.
- Competent in working with routing guides.
- Well versed in UPC creation and product catalogs.
- Ability to work with all levels within the organization
- Detailed oriented with excellent follow-up skills
- Passion for details, deadlines, and teamwork
- Strong assessment skills and ability to prioritize tasks
- Highly motivated, proactive and problem solver, focused on results.
College degree preferred
