Description
  • Conduct patient evaluations in inpatient or outpatient settings and tailor individualized treatment plans
  • Implement physical therapy interventions targeting mobility, strength, balance, and overall function
  • Collaborate with nurses, physicians, case managers, and other rehabilitation experts to maximize patient outcomes
  • Provide education to patients and families regarding therapeutic objectives, discharge processes, and home exercise regimens
  • Document evaluations, treatments, and progress in compliance with facility and regulatory standards
  • Engage in care team discussions and interdisciplinary conferences to ensure seamless patient care
Education
  • Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent qualification from an accredited institution
Certifications
  • State licensure as a Physical Therapist
  • Preferred CPR certification
  • Specialized certifications such as neurological or geriatric are advantageous but not mandatory
Skills
  • Prior experience strongly preferred
  • Capacity to treat patients with complex medical and mobility challenges
