About the Position

Our facility is licensed for 815 beds and recognized for excellence in clinical quality. We have received accolades for patient safety and nursing excellence. Our unit consists of 16 beds and a dedicated staff of 120. Staffing includes charge nurses, patient care technicians, surgical technicians, and registered nurses. Patient ratios are typically 1:1 or 1:2. Equipment includes Baxter Pumps and Phillips electronic fetal monitoring systems. The electronic medical record system used is Cerner. Typical procedures performed include vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, D&C, cerclage, and C-hysterectomies. We seek outgoing, friendly, and adaptable candidates. Floating to maternal-fetal medicine, obstetrics, and neonatal intensive care may be required. Weekend shifts may be available upon approval.
