Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol CPR Support in Ashburn, VA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in an educational setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate professionally, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity. - Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and community members by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities at a school district location.
- Respond to incidents, student or visitor concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate school personnel and emergency responders as directed by site procedures.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of school buildings, grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access to assigned locations, observe visitor activity, and support established sign-in, identification, and entry procedures in accordance with site policies.
- Document incidents, observations, and patrol activity accurately; communicate relevant information to supervisors and authorized school personnel.
Minimum Requirements:
- CPR certification is preferred.
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
