Job Summary:

Our company is in the wholesale gift business, we work with artisans around the globe to produce our goods and we sell to more than 3,500 retail stores across the US, Canada and Europe. We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Associate to help to ensure the accuracy and organization of products entering and leaving our warehouse in St. Charles, IL

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Work with our shipping and logistic companies, to schedule incoming goods from our suppliers and bring goods into our warehouse
• Ensures that space is available and organized in advance on incoming shipments.
• Works with trucking companies to receive goods, including unloading trucks and containers (est incoming shipments about 1 per month), must be able to lift and move boxes up to 45 lbs at times.
• Moves product from receiving areas to warehouse and fulfillment areas
• Assists in check in of incoming goods, to keep inventory counts accurate in online selling platforms.
• Computer skills required - fulfillment software, basic email, word processor and excel.
• Keep the warehouse organized at all times.
• Part of the Fulfillment/Warehouse team responsible for picking, packing, and ensuring that customer orders are shipped on time, accurately and packed appropriately.
• Serves as the last set of eyes on the product for quality control, before shipping to customers. Brings QC issues to the attention of the supervisor.
• Orders boxes and other supplies
• Moves and reorganizes product and materials when necessary.
• Restocks shelves and organizes shelves daily/weekly.
• Participates in monthly, quarterly, and year-end inventory counts and data entry.
• Provides general warehouse support including but not limited to organizing, cleaning, maintaining workspaces, and assisting with efficient and organized workflow.
• Daily trash removal, recycling, and breaking down boxes and recycling.
• Responsible for keeping personal workspace clean and safe.
• During busy seasons there is potential for compensated overtime work hours on evenings or weekends.

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Physical Requirements:

Can withstand prolonged periods of standing.

Must be able to regularly lift up to 50 pounds. Employees can choose to lift with another employee via “buddy lift.”

Ability to bend, twist and stoop from time to time
