Bobbees is seeking a highly organized, energetic and professional department Supervisor. You will work with all areas of the business and have a close working relationship with our customer base. This position is responsible for all functions associated with the production of bulk sauces and condiments for bottling.

Job Description

Duties include; but are not limited to...

• Effective verbal and written communication skills. Should be able to adapt communication style to suit different audiences.
• Working with batch makers to be sure product quality, texture and color are consistent from batch to batch.
• Make sure all GMP's, SQF and audit criteria are followed and all critical parameters met.
• Work closely with Human Resources to make employment and termination decisions including interviewing, hiring, evaluating and disciplining personnel as appropriate.
• Complete all housekeeping and sanitation requirements that promote health and safety.
• Complete all paperwork requirements (quality checks and audits).
• Adhere to all company policies.
• Multi-task and be proactive in efficiently completing work.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. multiple times during the day.
• Must be able to convert units of measure (example: gallons to ounces)
• Must be able to use an electric hand truck/forklift and follow best practices.
• Must be willing to assist in other areas if needed.
• Education and Experience
• High School Diploma required
• 5 years supervisor experience required
• 5 years or more in the food industry in the condiment business is preferred.
• A willingness to pitch in and teach is required.
• Hands on experience with fluid handling equipment pumps etc. is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to work under pressure
