Machine Shop Team Leader

Machine Shop Team Leader Shift: 5:00am 3:30pm Monday Thursday Overtime may be required KEITH Walking Floor Systems provide horizontal loading/unloading solutions for bulk materials, pallets, bales and rolls. The companys state-of-the‑art production facility in Madras, Oregon operates using Lean Manufacturing practices. We are seeking high performance team members with a commitment to quality work with a positive attitude. Essential Functions Respond to Andon calls by team members. Cover team member absenteeism. Team member training and cross‑training. Ensure standardized work is followed. Perform daily QC audits. Facilitate small group activities (daily tier board & Safety meetings). On-going continuous improvement activities. Ensure parts/materials are supplied to process/line. Maintain a customer first mindset for productivity and quality. Maintain 6S in work area. Meets agreed upon manufacturing goals in a timely manner. Other duties may be assigned. Minimum Qualifications Minimum of 18 years of age. Able to communicate in English with team members (Speak and reading, writing ability required.) May be required to pass employer performance tests including pre‑employment drug screening. One year of KEITH experience preferred. Machining experience preferred. Able to read a tape measure, calipers, and other precision measuring equipment. Lean experience preferred. Lead by example with a positive, enthusiastic attitude. Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment. Knowledge of Microsoft Office: Excel, Access and Outlook. Must be authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer without sponsorship now or in the future.
