Key Responsibilities of the RN - ICU - Intensive Care Unit

• Provide care to critically ill patients, including those with stroke, sepsis, pneumonia, and post-surgical conditions
• Administer and monitor medications, including cardiac and other critical drips
• Operate and manage equipment such as vents, bipaps, trachs, and art lines
• Respond to emergency situations and execute codes
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care

Requirements of the RN - ICU - Intensive Care Unit

• Valid RN license
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Minimum of 2 years ICU experience
• Experience with general ICU skills and patient types listed
