Job Summary:
The Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania-based operating room open heart specialty position involves working as a Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Technologist. The role requires rotating shifts including days, evenings, and nights, with call and weekend responsibilities. Candidates are required to bring their licensure on the first day.

Job Details:

• Location: Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
• Schedule: All shifts will be rotating (days, evenings, nights). Call and weekends required. Call can be weekday and/or weekend, with a response time of 30 minutes.
• Required Qualifications: Certifications with National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT) or National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA), at least 2 years of recent experience in Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) within the last 3 years, Level 1 Trauma experience (minimum 1 year within last 3), recent travel experience (minimum 1 year).
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Cardiac Robotics, Left Ventricular Assist Device (LVAD), Heart Transplant, and strong skills in General Orthopedics, Neurology, Vascular, Trauma, Robotics, and Transplant (Heart).
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: Candidates should have scrub experience, though it is not required to scrub in this role. In-house call rooms are available for use if needed.
