Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a telemetry unit during overnight shifts in an acute care hospital setting
• Float within or below skillset to like or lower-acuity units across multiple campuses as needed (excluding the ED)
• Complete a minimum of 4 weekend shifts per 4-week cycle and at least one holiday, including the associated holiday weekend
• Complete assigned non-billable online modules by the required deadline each week
• Maintain compliance with all required certifications, including AHA BLS and NIHSS

Required Qualifications

• Active California RN license in hand at time of submittal (Temporary or Permanent; no EMSA)
• AHA BLS certification required
• NIHSS certification required
• Minimum 2+ years of concurrent experience in Telemetry
• Travel nursing experience required
• EPIC experience, or combined EPIC/Cerner experience, within the last 6 months of work history
• 1 supervisory-level reference required at time of submission
• Maximum 7 days of requested time off; no new RTO requests after submittal
• Must live more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible; candidates who have been on assignment in the San Diego area for 9 or more months are considered local and are not eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience floating across multiple hospital campuses or within a large health system
• Familiarity with telemetry monitoring and stroke-related patient populations
• Availability for same-day or next-business-day interview scheduling
