Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical

Role: Provides and evaluates nursing care in a correctional health setting, ensuring patient needs are met according to recognized standards and provider instructions. Responsibilities: Plans, delivers, documents, and assesses nursing care; oversees nursing staff activities; observes and reports patient conditions; maintains accurate care documentation; upholds organizational values and customer service standards. Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited nursing program; current RN licensure in Ohio; BLS certification (or obtain within 90 days); strong knowledge of nursing theory, medical asepsis, and medical equipment; excellent interpersonal skills; physical dexterity. Preferred Skills: Bachelor of Science in Nursing; correctional health care experience; certifications like CCN or CCHP.
