Overview Position Overview At Unified Door & Hardware Group (UDHG), Accounts Payable Specialists keep things running smoothly, processing payments with accuracy, ensuring compliance, and supporting strong financial operations. Your attention to detail and commitment to service make a real impact across the business. Responsibilities and Qualifications Key Responsibilities Accounts Payable Coordination Work with corporate and field operations groups for AP documentation and approval Vendor Relations Communicate with the vendors and resolve open issues, disputes, and inquiries Data Entry Heavy volume data entry Reconcile Vendor Statements, research and correct discrepancies Code and enter invoices and payments into the accounting system Maintain basic knowledge of GL chart of accounts Miscellaneous Support our values in the stand areas of Safety, Customer Focus, Teamwork, Integrity and being a Company of Choice for both employees and customers Other duties as assigned Qualifications 2+ years of SAP Concur required (Expense, Invoice & Admin) Associate degree in Accounting or Business – related field 2+ years Accounts Payable/ Accounting-related field Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet Explorer) Basic knowledge and understanding of accounting principles/practices Experience with accounting software a plus Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment Organized- prioritizes work activities and time efficiently Detail oriented – demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness to ensure work quality Strong initiative and ability to problem solve Dependable – consistently at work and on time, follows instructions, responds to management direction and solicits feedback to improve performance Flexible schedule during monthly financial closes Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently to meet deadlines, or as a team member Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing to all levels within the organization Ability to work under pressure and with multiple deadlines Compensation and Benefits Reports To Accounts Payable Supervisor Compensation The listed pay range reflects the expected base rate for this position; actual compensation may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, and cost of living in the assigned market. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.
