Step into a rewarding role as a school-based Occupational Therapist, supporting students across five vibrant educational sites. With an immediate start, you'll have the opportunity to work full time (40+ hours a week), Monday through Friday, providing essential services to help children develop critical skills for success in and out of the classroom.
Use your expertise to make a lasting impact—collaborate with educators, parents, and fellow specialists to design and implement therapeutic interventions tailored to each student's unique needs. Whether facilitating fine motor development, sensory regulation, or adaptive strategies, your knowledge will empower students to thrive academically and socially.
Key qualifications and experience:
- Valid Occupational Therapist license/certification for schools, or eligibility to obtain
- Experience delivering OT services in educational settings preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to manage a caseload across multiple sites and adapt to different school environments
- Dedication to fostering positive outcomes for students with diverse backgrounds and abilities
Primary responsibilities:
- Provide therapy and interventions to students as outlined in their IEPs or 504 plans
- Conduct assessments, write reports, and develop individualized treatment goals
- Travel between five school sites to ensure comprehensive coverage
- Engage and educate school staff and families on strategies to support student progress
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation
