Job Title: Industrial Engineer
Location: Appleton, WI
Experience: 1 5 Years
Job Description:
Seeking an Industrial Engineer with strong shopfloor experience in manufacturing to drive Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct time studies, line balancing, video time studies, and VA/NVA analysis.
- Develop current and future-state Value Stream Maps (VSM) and identify bottlenecks.
- Analyze production capacity, productivity, and process inefficiencies.
- Recommend and implement Lean improvements, Kaizen initiatives, and corrective actions.
- Develop and update standard work instructions and video work instructions.
- Perform root cause analysis for quality issues, defects, and downtime.
- Support fixture design and process improvement activities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering.
- Mandatory hands-on shopfloor manufacturing experience.
- Strong knowledge of Time Study, Line Balancing, VSM, Lean Manufacturing, and Continuous Improvement.
- Experience in automotive, heavy vehicle, commercial vehicle, or industrial manufacturing is preferred.
- Fixture design, Kaizen, and quality improvement experience is a plus.
