What You’ll Do

• Evaluate adult and pediatric patients experiencing psychiatric emergencies.
• Perform comprehensive psychiatric assessments in a fast-paced screening center.
• Determine appropriate patient disposition, including admission, discharge, and observation.
• Provide medication management for patients in crisis.
• Develop and implement psychiatric treatment recommendations.
• Supervise and teach psychiatry residents during applicable shifts.
• Document clinical care using Oracle/Cerner FirstNet.

What You Need

Required

• Experience conducting psychiatric emergency evaluations.
• Experience evaluating adult psychiatric patients in crisis.
• Experience evaluating child and adolescent psychiatric patients in crisis.
• Ability to make psychiatric disposition decisions.
• Experience with medication management.
• Ability to work onsite overnight in a psychiatric emergency setting.
• Ability to supervise and teach psychiatry residents.
