Litigation Paralegal

LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a reputable law firm in Tampa that is seeking an experienced Insurance Defense Paralegal to join its growing litigation team. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented legal professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and supporting attorneys through all phases of the litigation process.

Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys with all aspects of insurance defense litigation.
• Draft, prepare, and file legal documents, including pleadings, discovery, and correspondence.
• Manage case files and maintain litigation calendars and deadlines.
• Coordinate depositions, hearings, mediations, and other case-related events.
• Review, organize, and summarize medical, billing, and other case records.
• Communicate with clients, experts, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
• Support trial preparation, including exhibit and witness coordination.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of Insurance Defense Paralegal experience required.
• Strong knowledge of Florida litigation procedures and court rules.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal case management software.
• Paralegal certificate or degree preferred.

Schedule

• Hybrid work schedule available
• Full-time, Monday through Friday
• Combination of onsite and remote work
