Warehouse Lead Supervisor - Illinois

What You'll Be Doing

Lead daily warehouse operations during the 2nd shift.

Coordinate warehouse associates to maximize productivity and efficiency.

Train new employees on warehouse procedures, safety, quality, and scan compliance.

Support shipping, receiving, inventory accuracy, and order flow.

Monitor labeling, packaging quality, and product handling standards.

Ensure warehouse inventory is accurate and properly maintained.

Promote scan discipline and process compliance throughout the warehouse.

Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.

Assist the Warehouse Manager with daily operations and step into leadership responsibilities when needed.

Foster a safe, organized, and productive work environment.
What We're Looking For

High school diploma or equivalent.

Minimum 1 year of warehouse leadership or supervisory experience.

Experience coordinating warehouse teams in a distribution or logistics environment.

Furniture warehouse experience is highly preferred.

Strong knowledge of shipping, receiving, inventory control, and warehouse best practices.

Strong organizational and communication skills.

Reliable attendance and excellent attention to detail.

Forklift experience or certification is a plus.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Physical Requirements

Lift and carry up to 75 pounds regularly.

Occasionally lift up to 100 pounds with assistance.

Stand and walk throughout the shift.

Frequently bend, reach, stoop, push, and pull merchandise.

Work safely in an active warehouse environment.

Flexibility to work overtime or weekends when business demands require.
