Staffing Coordinator

Position: Staffing Coordinator Location: Polk County, FL Schedule: Full-Time Pay Rate: $23.00 – $26.00 per hour (based on experience) Join Our Team as a Staffing Coordinator A premier Nursing and Rehabilitation Center based in Polk County, FL is seeking an experienced and highly organized Staffing Coordinator to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring appropriate nursing coverage, maintaining staffing compliance, and supporting payroll and scheduling operations to deliver high-quality resident care. Key Responsibilities Maintain accurate and up-to-date contact information for all nursing staff Track attendance, tardiness, call-outs, and absences Report attendance and scheduling concerns to the Director of Nursing per facility policy Coordinate modified-duty assignments with HR and nursing leadership Assist employees with scheduling requests, PTO, timecards, and documentation Develop, maintain, and post monthly nursing schedules based on census and staffing needs Support shift coverage needs and respond to scheduling inquiries Prepare staffing materials and schedules for new hires prior to orientation Maintain licensure, certification, and credential tracking for nursing staff Adjust staffing levels based on census changes while minimizing overtime Process nursing department payroll and coordinate agency staffing as needed Provide Unit Secretary coverage when required Qualifications Minimum 2 years of Staffing Coordinator experience in a healthcare, rehab, or skilled nursing facility Knowledge of PPD and AHCA staffing requirements Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Proficiency with scheduling systems, payroll processes, and Microsoft Office High attention to detail and accuracy Benefits Competitive Pay Medical & Dental Insurance Generous Paid Time Off (PTO) Employee Recognition Programs Company Perks & Discounts Supportive, team-oriented environment 1 Personal Floating Holiday Apply Today Join a compassionate team dedicated to delivering exceptional care and operational excellence.
