Details 154-bed Joint Commission accredited hospital offering orthopedics, spine services, cardiology, general surgery, women's care, ED, and behavioral health Chest Pain Center Progressive Care/Cardiac Stepdown Transitional unit on the 4th floor with 22 beds Cares for cardiac observation, post cardiac catheterization lab patients, and cardioversion patients in an adult population Uses telemetry equipment Paragon EHR Night shift, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM Every other weekend required Floating required No call requirements Requirements Active RN license (NC or Compact) required Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS (AHA certifications required) Minimum 2 years of experience required Step-down or ICU experience required Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) minimum required Team-oriented with good communication skills and flexibility Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration Additional Information Bi-weekly orientation schedule Navy scrub color required; no offensive tattoos or non-facility tops permitted Candidates must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for the travel rate Candidates cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months Cannot be employed elsewhere full-time Located in Clyde, NC, near the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and within driving distance of Asheville, Knoxville, and Greenville These details are based on information provided by the facility and may include inaccuracies or be subject to updates.
