Senior Financial Analyst

Overview As a Senior Financial Analyst, provide support to the Biometrics and Identity Document Reading business area within HID Global. This business finance role focuses on financial planning, analysis, reporting and business partnering with the business area management team and key functions including sales, marketing, operations and engineering. The role reports to the Business Area Controller, works with Financial Shared Services for transactional support and Group FP&A for financial reporting and planning. Responsibilities Perform monthly analysis of the business area's financial results and prepare management presentations; investigate variances from historical performance and forecasts highlighting key business drivers. Translate financial analysis into clear data‑driven storylines and insights. Create financial models to support P&L planning and analysis, with deep understanding of revenues and costs. Provide financial insights to assess risk and highlight opportunities to achieve financial commitments. Support the quarterly forecast and annual budgeting processes, planning for spending, headcount, cost savings, and investments. Work closely with Financial Shared Services to ensure accuracy of the business area financials. Support the business area reporting requirements, both recurring and ad‑hoc. Prepare financial presentations for business reviews and other executive meetings. Partner with the business area management team and build strong working relationships. Assist business area controllers in preparing strategy requirements, including what‑if scenario planning. Complete special projects and ad‑hoc analysis timely and accurately as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor's degree (essential). Accounting qualification (preferred). Public accounting experience with 1–2 years of post‑practice industry experience or commercial experience as a financial analyst for 4–5 years. End‑to‑end knowledge of P&L analysis under IFRS/GAAP. Thorough understanding of business forecasting and financial modeling. Proficiency in MS Office applications; advanced Excel skills essential. Experience with Oracle or similar ERP system. Experience with Oracle Analytics Cloud or similar management information system. Experience with OneStream or similar financial consolidation and reporting system. Self‑starter with strong communication skills. Positive attitude, able to work well under pressure. Ability to work in a global environment and a matrix organization.
