Custodial Technician

We, at Leggett & Platt Inc., are searching for a Custodial Technician within our Facilities Management team to help support our business. This is an on-site position at our corporate office in Carthage, MO. The hours for this position are Monday-Friday, 7:00 am – 3:00 pm.

So, what will you be doing as a Custodial Technician?

• Perform a variety of building facility cleaning tasks
• Conduct all sanitizing and disinfecting of high touch points daily
• Follow verbal and written instructions and work independently
• Walk corporate building routes
• Perform partial security duties
• Occasional holidays, weekends, and phone coverage may be required

To be successful in this role, you’ll need:

• High School/GED or equivalent vocational training
• Valid driver’s license
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Responsible and trustworthy
• Requires a lot of walking, carrying, bending, lifting, and must have ability to lift 25-pound boxes
• This role may have the opportunity for picking up volunteer shifts to fill-in for absences and holidays
