The Role
- Part-time schedule with primarily daytime shifts and a shared weekend rotation aligned with hospital hours
- Provide preventive and general medical care for companion animals, including wellness exams, vaccinations, microchipping, and parasite management
- Perform dentistry, including dental radiography, and soft tissue surgery such as spay/neuter and routine procedures
- Use in-house lab diagnostics and digital radiography to diagnose and manage cases efficiently
- Deliver clear client communication, education, and follow-up to support treatment plans
- Collaborate with credentialed technicians, veterinary assistants, and client service coordinators to maintain excellent patient flow, including curbside and drop-off appointments
- Maintain accurate medical records and uphold clinical quality and safety standards, including compassionate end-of-life care

Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine or equivalent from an accredited institution
- Active Connecticut veterinary license or eligibility to obtain prior to start
- DEA registration or eligibility to obtain
- Strong clinical, communication, and teamwork skills
- Authorization to work in the United States
