Job Description

You will be a member of an emergency medical care team providing prehospital emergency care. Your role will be to serve and protect clients in various industries, including healthcare, government, and more.

Salary

$18.00 per hour

Responsibilities

Administer first aid and other emergency care to sick or injured persons and help coordinate their transport to medical facilities. Provide customer service to our clients by applying safety procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to emergency calls received through the dispatcher, including medical assistance requests, following established procedures for emergency response. Provide emergency medical care and other treatments in accordance with EMT certification. Determine the nature and extent of illnesses and injuries. Report all medical incidents, accidents, or emergencies, including preparing a Daily Activity Log for each shift, describing all activities performed. Complete an Incident Report documenting any medical response calls that occurred on the client's property. Establish priorities to determine first aid or emergency assistance procedures to follow; request additional help, including specialized rescue services and utility support when necessary. Conduct regular and random patrols within the facilities and the perimeter of the business. Work environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Requirements

At least 21 years of age for unarmed positions. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or have five years of verifiable experience. Hold and maintain a state-certified license of EMT Basic, EMT Intermediate, or Paramedic. Have a current CPR certification for Health Care Provider or Professional Rescuer. As a condition of employment, applicants will undergo a background check in compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal backgrounds in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to controlled substance testing as permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for positions involving vehicle operation. Possess a clean driving record for the past three years. Demonstrate intermediate computer skills to operate innovative wireless technology at specific client sites. Show exceptional customer service and communication skills.
