Respiratory Therapist – Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Night Shift | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 18:30–07:00 | Every Other Weekend Coverage

Key Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy services within a Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics unit setting
• Maintain a patient ratio of 1:4 throughout assigned shifts
• Document patient care and clinical data accurately using Epic EMR
• Participate in holiday coverage rotation, expected to work 2 of 4 designated holiday periods annually (Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's)
• Be prepared to serve on an emergency team or relief team in the event of a facility-declared emergency, as directed by unit management

Required Qualifications

• Active RRT or CRT credential required
• BLS certification (AHA) required
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Respiratory Therapist
• Epic EMR experience required
• Compact or Louisiana state license must be in hand at time of submittal
• Must reside more than 65 miles from the facility (as measured from the address on file with the driver's license to the facility) to be eligible — local travelers are not accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Level 3 NICU experience is highly preferred
• Prior travel therapy experience welcomed, including first-time travelers with 1 or more years of clinical experience
