From late August to early December 2026, you'll play a pivotal role in helping young learners thrive within a dedicated ED program at the elementary level. Position Details:

• Contract runs from August 27, 2026, through December 7, 2026
• Part-time schedule: 2-3 days per week
• School hours: 8:15am to 3:30pm

What we're seeking:

• Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) required
• Current certification as a school social worker
• Previous experience working in school-based settings, particularly with students in Emotional Disturbance (ED) programs, highly valued
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with elementary-aged students, staff, and families
• A collaborative approach and adaptability to work within a multidisciplinary educational team

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide social-emotional support and interventions for students within the ED program
• Conduct individual and small group counseling sessions
• Serve as a resource for classroom teachers, collaborating on strategies to enhance student success
• Liaise with families to foster positive home-school connections
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to IEP meetings as needed
