Patient Care Technician - Mon-Fri Days - St. Petersburg

Position details:

Status: Full Time

Facility: Carillon Outpatient Center (Surgery Center)

Location: St. Petersburg, Florida

Shift: Varies between 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM (8 hour days) Monday-Friday, no holidays

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care under the direction and supervision of an RN or LPN.

Minimum requirements include one of the following:

• 6 months of acute care experience, or
• 1 year of PCT/CNA experience in a skilled nursing or rehab facility, or
• Successful completion of a BayCare sponsored Nursing Assistant or PCT Internship, or
• Completion of Nursing Fundamentals (RN) or Nursing Foundation (LPN) Programs, or
• EMT certification/Paramedic license for ER only, or
• Completion of a PCT or Nursing Assistant program which includes at least 40 hours of an external clinical component
• Preferred 1 year hospital related field experience

Required:

• High School or Equivalent
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
