DescriptionThe Controller will be a key member of the leadership team, responsible for overseeing all financial operations of the company. This individual will play a critical role in shaping financial strategy, improving processes, and supporting continued portfolio expansion. Real Estate experience is REQUIRED.Key Responsibilities:Oversee all core accounting functions, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and financial reportingPrepare, review, and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statementsLead budgeting, forecasting, and long‑term financial planning processesDesign, implement, and maintain strong internal controls, policies, and proceduresManage cash flow, banking relationships, and capital planning activitiesProvide strategic financial insight to support acquisitions, renovations, and growth initiativesEnsure compliance with GAAP and all applicable regulatory requirementsPartner closely with property management and operational teams to drive financial performanceSupervise, mentor, and develop accounting staffBenefits:Medical/Dental/VisionPTO401kRequirements• Demonstrated experience managing the full accounting cycle within a corporate or property-related environment.• Strong knowledge of month-end and year-end close procedures, financial statement preparation, and account reconciliation.• Hands-on expertise in accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including oversight of transaction accuracy and controls.• Proven ability to build budgets, develop forecasts, and analyze financial results to support strategic decision-making.• Solid understanding of internal controls, financial policies, and compliance requirements relevant to accounting operations.• Experience managing cash flow, banking relationships, and financial planning activities.• Effective leadership skills with experience supervising, mentoring, and developing accounting personnel.Job typePerm
